About Mt Washington Chalet
Built in the Fall of 2009, with drive-in & drive-out access, Mt Washington Chalet @ Cruikshank Ridge is a 3300 sq ft family-oriented property on Mountain Washington, British Columbia, Canada, owned by your hosts the Comber & Hengstler Families. (See Video Clip)
Mount Washington has one of the deepest natural snow bases in all of BC with access for Alpine (downhill) & Nordic (X-country) skiing, as well as snowshoeing & snow tubing. Lessons & rentals are available on the mountain, along with full childcare services for 18 mo to 12 yrs. Children can participate in full or 1/2 day programs, multi-week programs, and holiday camps. The Chalet consists of 3 floors that can be divided into two sections or rented as a whole. The upper and main floors are the "Upper Chalet" (sleeps 14; 10 adults & 4 children), while the self-contained lower floor is the "Lower Chalet" (sleeps 10-adults). Total capacity is 24 people.
